Locally-grown Afro Caribbean veggies

Inspired by the Creole gardens in Haiti, Jardins Lakou is a new bio-intensive micro-farm. Located on the property of the Corry family in Dunham in the Eastern Townships.

By cooking with Jardins Lakou’s locally-grown produce, you will get the healthiest, freshest, and the best quality of Afro Caribbean veggies possible.

Okra, sweet potatoes, varieties of hot peppers and eggplants, Lalo aka Callaloo leaves, Caribbean squash are only examples of the produce that customers of Jardins Lakou will be able to find in their plate. Everything will be accompanied by local Quebec products such as: tomatoes, peppers, celery, cabbage, lettuce, onions, cucumbers, broccoli, fresh herbs, melons and berries.

Environmentally conscious agriculture
By the “bio-intensive” horticultural production method adopted at Jardins Lakou, our team seeks to maximize the yield of the cultivated areas we have available with the aim of preserving, even improving, the quality of the soil. We aim to obtain our organic certification by 2021. We are committed to providing you with healthy, unprocessed food, without middlemen and unnecessary packaging.
