Following the planned activities, your group will be free to enjoy our facilities or to go for a swim at the Cowansville municipal beach for free. Our workshops are led by our dynamic and passionate facilitators.

- Guided tour of the facilities: Tour of the fields, the greenhouse and presentation of the equipment;
- Participation in the creation of Jardins Lakou’s Educational Garden: An opportunity for participants to discover the ecology of plants and to get their hands dirty;
- Scavenger Hunt : Participants work together in small groups to find items around the farm. The objectives are to get moving, have fun, cooperate, observe the environment, and review what was learned on the farm earlier in the program;
- Move Your Butt : Teens' participants learn the three components of food justice through an interactive, kinesthetic game;
- Media Does Not Have My Mind : Teens' participants create shorts skits about healthy food and learn about the role of advertising in determining our diets;
- Tales for children about Afro Caribbean culinary and agriculture traditions;
- Traditional songs from different farming communities around the World;
- Presentation, games and special recipes during snacks and lunch break (preparation of smoothies and / or a collective salad, riddles on flavors, etc.).

Community Farm Partnership
Are you responsible of a daycare center, a school or a community center and are you interested in the idea of a long term partnership with a farm? This program allows your organization to offer Jardins Lakou’s CSA baskets to your members and customers, buy vegetables directly from our farm and insert our recipes in the menu of your establishment.
